The Right Approach

OUR PROGRAMS

PLAY SCHOOL & PRIMARY

The curriculum at the school has a sharp focus on socio-emotional, creative, language, physical, cognitive, intellectual, moral and aesthetic development of toddlers. Celebrations are an integral part of the school curriculum. The school celebrates all major festivals of the country to make children understand our rich cultural heritage. Skits help in developing the child’s oratory skills and self-confidence. Skits are regularly held in the school for children of all ages.

The school believes in recruiting and training the best-in-class talent as teachers’ skills are very much crucial for the overall development of the child. Emphasis is given on spoken English and etiquettes.

A home away from with a hygienic environment for the young ones, AIM International school is wonderful world for fun and learning. We plan and create activities that help growing children in developing learning abilities. At AIM play school we provide an enlightening and safe environment where children enjoy playing and learning.

Play – centric activities foster the major domains of development such as social emotional, language development, cognitive sensory, personal awareness and gross motor development. We use multi-sensory, thematic, play way approach which awakens and illuminates a child’s intellect in multi-dimensional ways. We identify child’s preferred learning style- audio, visual& kinesthetic and design activities in a way that all learners can have optimal learning and also balance all five-learning style. We give children a new stimulating experience through good story books, ample play materials, music, puppetry outing and host of events conducted throughout the year. We motivate the children to learn with joy and to become confident, independent, friendly and well mannered.

ASSESSMENT

Effective assessments give students feedback on how well they understand the information and on what they need to improve, while helping teachers to design instruction better. In AIM International, assessment is done intermittently and through three different ways – Formatives, Interim and Summative. Our Formative Assessments are short term testing done through very interactive class discussion: written and oral test a warm-up, closures, exit or feedback slips: on-the-spot performance: quiz grand conversations brainstorming etc. where our learners are in the process of making meaning of new content and of integrating it into what they already know.

Our students get immediate feedback which enables them to change their understanding and performance. Our Interim assessments are more formal and are done, using such as projects scored with a rubric, extended essays written assignments and chapter test. Our students are given the opportunity to re- demonstrate their understanding once feedback has been digested and acted upon. Our Summative Assessment is formal and takes place at the end of each terms
